CLIENT STORY
Vera Ye is a Vintage inspired designer brand that wanted a look book and fashion film for the launch of their signature collection. We were excited to work with this company and capture this designers first ready to wear line. The Vintage collection showcases what the label stands for which are well made classic staples. These items are vintage inspired not only through aesthetics but also workmanship. Straying away from fast fashion and creating collections in limited edition runs. We collaborated with them on a vision and worked together to highlight their favorite pieces from the collection. The images and the cinematic fashion film were shot within the same two day shooting schedule. Working with a small team in Los Angeles and one female model. The pressure was on in capturing texture and movement. Also, hinting at the inspiration from the past.
From conception to final photos and videos it took Live Art Love a matter of weeks. Paying attention to COVID-19 guidelines by working with limited number of crew and talent. While managing this shoot without clients being on set. We did this with continuous check-ins weekly through video chat. We are appreciative that the client was confident that we could capture their vision during the lockdown.
